YOUTH

Youth Sunday School

Youth Sunday School gives meaningful, forceful ideas to think about and pray with—ideas that heal, all based on a divine law. Children of all ages gain a spiritual perspective that will help them throughout their life.
The curriculum consists of four lessons per unit. After each unit has been taught and engrossed by the children, the students take art in a competitive activity. This activity is held twice a year during an early Sunday morning to display to their peers, parents and families what they have learned during their time in Sunday School.
All classes meet on the second floor of the church. Sunday school begins at 10 am to 11 am. We have five different classes, the following classes are:
*Heaven & Star (3 – 5 years old)
This class is held on the first floor behind the sanctuary. Extended Care is provided during services every 2nd and 4thSunday.
*Genesis (1st – 3rd grades)

Youth Evening Program

Our youth group contains a series of organized meetings and activities for the children within the church. The program is designed to teach children, help them grow in their spirituality and provide educational and physical activities. Each month is theme based. The program focuses on strapping our youth with the proper tools to survive in this ever-changing world. We offer a safe way for kids to fellowship while strengthening their faith. In addition, the youth program facilitates several of the church’s yearly activities:
• Youth Revival –mid June
• Christmas program
• Easter program
• Family day

Kemmar (Enrichment/Homework assistance program)

Vacation Bible School

Vacation Bible School (VBS) is an annual summer program. Children ages 3-12 years old attend the first week. The children that are 3 years old must be fully potty trained. Youth ages 13 and up attend the second week of August. VBS provides children and youth with fun-filled Bible lessons, activities, songs and games. It is an opportunity for children and youth to come together to learn more about God while having fun. Each year the children look forward to the trip which takes place at the end of the week. For more information on registering your child/children for VBS, please contact Mirlande J. Philippe at info@ceachurchofgod.org.
